Ignore System.Threading.ThreadAbortException Exception

Posted: November 9, 2011 in ASP.Net

In most cases you will most likely want to ignore exceptions raised by System.Threading.ThreadAbortException.  To do this, you can try the following:

try
{
  // Do something
}
catch (System.Threading.ThreadAbortException exThread)
{
  // Ignore exception
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
  // Catch exception
}
